Why Is Branded Items So Expensive??

You will think that branded items is so expensive and we cannot afford to buy. So we go to the market and buy "cheap and good" items. But have you ever think, why branded items are so expensive nowadays. The reasons are very simple:

1) Quality.

Branded items have very good quality. As an example, a good quality Reebok sports shoes may cost around 50-60 Pound. It is quite expensive but if you compare the quality, it is far better than those shoes in the market. One pair of those C&G (cheap and good) shoes may costs around 7 pound. It is twenty times cheaper than a Reebok shoes, but how long can it last?? Let's say it can last for three months, after that you have to change a new pair. But a quality shoes can last at least three years. Let's count, in three years, you waste 78 buying C&G shoes. Why don't buy a Reebok shoes which only costs 50 pound??

2) The cost of the raw material

The raw material of the branded item is already expensive. Form example, a titanium specs is not expensive because its brand, but its material to make that specs. The raw material itself is already expensive because it is high quality.

3) The cost to pay the designer.

A branded item has its own design. The design is like a trademark. People nowadays go for design that are different from others, so they hire designer to design for them. The designer waste a lot of time just to come up with a different design. If you were the designer, you waste about half a year just to come up with a design and your employer just give you a little pay. Do you want that to happen to you??

4) The cost for advertising and promoting.

Whenever a new item is released, the company sure do a lot of advertising in order to let the public know about there item. The company is going to include the advertising fees in the product. This will cause the product to become more expensive.

I think that is the main reasons why branded items is so expensive. Remember, the company will maintain its good image by selling good quality items, different designs and always advertise their new product. No doubt it is so expensive. We pay for the quality not the quantity.
